Development of KiNvis approach system

A kinesthetic illusion is a feeling as if an individual’s own body is moving during sensory input, even though the body is actually in a resting state (kinesthetic illusion induced by visual stimulus: KiNvis). At this time, a neural network is activated in the same brain regions during KiNVis as is activated during actual movement execution. We have investigated in the area from fundamental experimental research to clinical trial in order to develop a integrated system of KiNVis and another movement assist system.
